CHALLENGE/OPPORTUNITY: Clariant was hosting One Identity Manager on Amazon Web Services (AWS), which had become increasingly expensive. The implementation to move to IMOD was projected to take six months, with high costs. They required a solution that could migrate more quickly, cost-efficiently and more reliably. The customer sought a migration solution that provided visibility throughout the entire migration journey and a fully controlled automation process. SOLUTION: By automating the Migration Assessment and Blueprint phases of the migration with eMigrateSecure™, EnterprizID eliminated all risks associated with manual migration. EnterprizID’s unique approach has resolved potential human errors, password disclosures, data loss, and unwanted access to data-in-transit. BENEFITS: EnterprizID migrated both Clariant’s QA and Production environments to Identity Manager On-Demand in a fraction of the time initially quoted. Approximately 5,375,000 rows of data, including over a million identities and their corresponding data were moved securely, with minimum interruption to their workflows. Nearly half of the original budget was saved in comparison to the initial estimate.
